Galease M/aux Marita
M / aux Marita was built in the Porvoo archipelago in 1947.
The ship is of Galease type, ie a two-masted tall ship with an auxiliary engine. Originally, the ship was built as a cargo ship - it carried e.g. sand from Vessöö (Porvoo archipelago) to Helsinki. Since 1994, M / aux Marita has been part of the Traditional Ship Register maintained by the Finnish National Board of Antiquities. Marita is 27.8 meters long, 7.3 meters wide, has a sail area of 276 square meters and a draft of 2.3 meters.
